XTP.com: “We have never felt scammed”

Brandon Katz, Crypto Growth (@brandonkz), on XTP.com’s experience with streamer rates, campaign delivery and escrow on Verifluence.

A streamer campaign can disappoint even when the work gets done. An operator can also pay for a campaign that never delivers what was agreed. Brandon Katz makes a clear distinction between the two.

In our conversation about XTP.com’s experience on Verifluence, he was open about campaigns that produced poor results. But he was just as clear about what had changed: the team had more control over the budget and a way to review unmet campaign requirements before releasing payment.

There’s a useful story here for streamers, too. XTP.com has found smaller and mid-sized creators outside the familiar networks that keep appearing in casino campaigns.

We asked Brandon what had been difficult before, what Verifluence had made easier, and what he still wanted us to improve.

Before Verifluence, how were you finding streamers?

We mostly worked through agencies and did some direct outreach. The main issue was that many agencies seemed more focused on filling a campaign quota than delivering meaningful results. We spent a lot of time reviewing creators, negotiating deals and following up, but the results were inconsistent.

What was the biggest headache with managing them?

The biggest problem was discovering that some streamers had heavily botted audiences. It was also difficult to confirm whether every agreed stream had actually taken place. We were relatively new to streamer marketing, so even knowing what constituted a fair rate was challenging.

Finding a name to put on a shortlist was only the beginning. The team still needed to judge whether the audience was genuine, understand the price and establish whether the work had happened. Those questions affected both the decision to book a creator and the work of managing the campaign afterwards.

What made you decide to try Verifluence?

Verifluence was a good fit because it gave us visibility into rates across a large number of creators. It also allowed us to make one payment through the platform instead of managing hundreds of individual crypto payments. Most importantly, we wanted more control over our budget and a way to avoid paying for campaigns that were not delivered properly.

For a casino team, those individual payments are work that sits around the campaign itself. Centralising that part of the process gave XTP.com a different way to manage its streamer budget, while broader rate visibility helped the team evaluate its options.

How has escrow changed the way you work with streamers?

The escrow system removes a lot of uncertainty for both sides. The funds are available, but they are only released once the agreed deliverables have been completed. If the required metrics or deliverables are not met, we can review the campaign before releasing payment. It has made the entire process much cleaner.

Has anything gone wrong, and how was it handled?

We have had streamers produce poor results, but that is always possible with performance marketing. The important distinction is that we have never felt scammed. There have been one or two cases where payment was not released because the agreed campaign requirements were not met, and the platform made that process straightforward.

This is the distinction worth keeping. Brandon describes disappointing results and unmet campaign requirements as different issues. The cases he gives for withholding payment concern requirements that had been agreed and were not met. He is not describing a guarantee that every campaign will perform well.

For both parties, that makes the agreement important before a stream begins. The operator needs to know what it is funding. The streamer needs to know what they are expected to deliver and what payment depends on.

How much time are you saving?

A significant amount. Once a campaign is set up, the operational load on our team is very low. The most time-consuming part now is choosing the right creators because there are so many available on the platform.

The work hasn’t disappeared. It has shifted towards choosing the right partners, rather than handling the campaign once it is running.

Who have you found that you might not have found on your own?

We have discovered smaller and mid-sized creators across different markets who would have been difficult for us to identify through agencies or direct outreach. Verifluence gives us access to a much broader creator pool, including streamers outside the usual networks that repeatedly appear in casino campaigns.

If you’re a streamer building a strong community, this answer matters. XTP.com’s experience shows that discovery can extend beyond the names an operator already knows. It doesn’t promise every creator a deal, but it gives smaller and mid-sized channels a concrete reason to make their audience and content easy to assess.

What would you tell another operator managing campaigns by hand?

Managing campaigns manually can work at a small scale, but it quickly becomes inefficient. Negotiating rates, making individual payments, confirming streams and tracking delivery creates a lot of unnecessary administration. A platform like Verifluence makes it much easier to compare creators, protect your budget and scale campaigns without adding a huge operational burden.

What would you like Verifluence to improve?

The creator list is extensive, which is a strength, but it can also make choosing the right streamer time-consuming. Better filtering and recommendations based on geography, audience quality and historical campaign performance would make discovery easier. We would also like the ability to structure raw deals directly through the platform, giving operators more flexibility in how they work with creators.

A broader creator pool brings more choice. Brandon’s feedback is that narrowing that choice still takes work. By “raw deals”, he means raw-balance arrangements where the streamer funds their own gameplay. Support for that structure, alongside better filtering and recommendations, is feedback from this interview rather than a new-feature announcement.

More control around the campaign

XTP.com still has to choose its creators and decide which campaigns deserve more investment. Verifluence hasn’t removed those decisions. What Brandon describes is a more manageable process around them, with clearer rate comparisons, centralised funding and a shared set of requirements to refer to when reviewing delivery.

That gives casino teams a way to build their streamer programmes without turning every additional creator into another disconnected negotiation and payment trail. For streamers, it creates another route to operators looking beyond their existing contacts.
